U/S examination is performed on ovaries and uterus during AI. Follicle scanning is performed to optimise insemination time, usually after the follicle has reached 35mm. Early pregnancy diagnosis can be measured at day 12.
Injuries to flexor tendons SDF and DDF, Suspensory ligament, and Inferior Check ligament are common injuries in sporting horses and need to be assessed early with U/S examination, allowing early treatment planning with Stem Cells or ACP or ABPS (all autologous blood products).
